If you are unfamiliar with Cuyamaca Rancho State Park I want you to stop whatever you are doing (after you finish this sentence), get away from your computer, drive 45 minutes east of San Diego and immerse yourself in the beautiful mountains, lakes, meadows, streams, campgrounds and trails that we have right in our own backyards. Seriously, change your plans for this weekend and head out there and discover the amazing things you have been depriving yourself of.
OK, I’m assuming you either already know how great the park is or you are just picking back up where you left off after an unforgettable day in the mountains. Now that we are all on the same level with how great this place is, it’s time to help decide the future of the park. October 3rd marks the first public hearing to help shape the General Plan that will determine the future shape that Cuyamaca Rancho State Park will take on.
So set aside a couple hours on Wednesday, October 3, and lend your voice to ensure that the future lends itself to the continued and enhanced enjoyment we’ve come to appreciate.
